The main goal of Induction is to reinforce a friendly atmosphere which will help learners to become familiar with the training venue and the facilities available to them. Also, to ensure that learners are fully supported and prepared sufficiently to meet the demands of their chosen course.

Arabian Child does not guarantee repeating the induction for those who were absent. Prior to induction, learners must ensure that they have completed registration and payment.

  • Course schedules and session times
  • Learner handbooks
  • Learner agreement

سياسة تقييم المتعلم

Learners receive guidance on how to prepare assignments or assessment tasks at the beginning of the course, during each unit and as needed.  Learners complete their tasks online via our learning management system (Laser Learning), a qualified assessor will review their tasks, assess and provide them with feedback.  Assignments are reviewed at various points during the course.

سياسة الاعتراف بالتعلم المسبق

In order to validate prior units/knowledge as ‘acceptable evidence,’ learners will have to demonstrate that they successfully completed all or some of the assessment criteria for a unit or several units within a qualification. In order to do this, learners will have to provide evidence of recent prior study which meets fully the assessment criteria of the program being undertaken.  This evidence can be in the form of Certificates issued (by authorized awarding body) for units successfully completed. Learners will have to demonstrate, through professional development discussion (for assessment criteria addressing knowledge) and observation of performance (for assessment criteria addressing skills) that the assessment criteria of the unit are fully met. The assessor responsible for assessing the learner’s prior learning will have to be completely satisfied that the evidence provided meets the assessment criteria for which it has been submitted.

If the assessor concludes that the evidence from prior learning is weak, the learner will be required to continue working and produce further evidence as appropriate.

Circumstances in which prior learning will not be recognized or validated included,

  • Learning that is similar to assessment criteria but which has been met at a level lower than the current program of study being undertaken by the learner
  • Prior learning that is more than two (2) years old
  • Prior learning that has been referred by an assessor
  • Prior learning that has not been assessed by an assessor

In these circumstances, the learner will be expected to undertake the task of studying the units again and provide evidence to meet all assessment criteria as indicated by Arabian Child.  All cases (learners) who have had prior knowledge recognized, will be included and clearly identified in the IQA sampling plan and, therefore, subject to internal quality assurance.

  • For the first observation, learner is recommended to focus on 1 age group. For the second observation the learner may choose to demonstrate their ability with 2 age groups.

  • Arabian Child will send the learner the observation schedule.  The learner must confirm the observation date and must submit an activity plan 5 days before the observation date. The activity plan that is submitted must meet all the required standards (A sample may be provided to the learner).

  • The learner is responsible to gain approvals from their supervisor. Arabian Child is not responsible to communicate with the center director/supervisor/etc.

  • If the learner does not submit the activity plan in a timely manner, then they may loose the opportunity for the observation, and their success may be at risk.

  • The learner will have to wait for another rescheduling of the observation and there may be a considerable delay. Arabian Child is not responsible for any delays in the learner progress in this case.
