Step-by-step Instructions For Completing Your CACHE Assignments
1) Accessing the Google Doc Template:
Open a web browser (e.g., Chrome, Safari, Firefox).
Go to the Google Docs website by typing “docs.google.com” in the address bar and press Enter.
Sign in with your Google account. If you don’t have a Google account, you’ll need to create one.
Once signed in, click on the link provided by your teacher to access the homework template.
2) Make a copy of the assignment template
Once the template document is open, go to the “File” menu at the top left corner of the screen.
From the drop-down menu, select “Make a copy”. In the pop-up window, rename the document as instructed by your teacher, and click “OK”.
3) Accessing Your Copy of the Document
Your copy of the document will open in a new tab.
You can also find your document in your Google Drive (drive.google.com) under “My Drive”.
4) Sharing the Document with the Assessor
Once you have completed your homework, click on the “Share” button at the top right corner of the screen.
Under General Access – Change the setting to “Anyone with the link”
Click on the pencil icon next to the email field and select “Commenter”.
Click “Copy Link”.
Go to your assignment and paste it in the box under “Please paste the link to the google docs below to submit your assignment”
