โจ Program Overview
Effective Inclusion in Early Years is an 8-hour mandatory professional development programme designed to equip early years educators with clear, practical, classroom-based strategies to include children with SEND meaningfully and effectively.
The programme is aligned with ADEK and KHDA Inclusive Education expectations and supports educators in building safe, equitable, and supportive learning environments that promote participation, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for all children.
๐ About This Programme
This programme is intentionally structured as three courses, each addressing a core pillar of inclusive early years practice. Together, the courses build educator competence across early identification and intervention, ethical observation and documentation, adapting routines and environments, differentiated instruction, and inclusive play-based pedagogy.
The programme also provides a simplified, teacher-friendly introduction to Individual Support Plans (ISP/IEP), clarifying the educatorโs role in implementation, review, and collaboration with families, specialists, and leadership teams.

Live, online sessions will be held on:

This programme is especially designed for roles that provide direct, daily in-class support:
- Education Support Teams / Inclusion Teams
- Shadow Teachers (1:1 Support Staff)
- Early Years Educators and Teaching Assistants
